About

A career built on the machinery of governance, not just its language.

Mathew is the Managing Consultant of Stratos Consultants Limited and has spent two decades supporting governments, regulators, state corporations, counties, universities and development partners across Kenya and the wider region. His work sits at the intersection of strategic planning, corporate governance, policy formulation and performance management: the disciplines that determine whether a public mandate actually gets delivered.

He is currently pursuing a PhD in Leadership and Governance at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, and holds an MBA in Strategic Management and a BSc in Business Administration, both from United States International University. He is a Certified Public Secretary (CPSK) and a member of the Institute of Human Resource Management and the Kenya Institute of Management.

Beyond his own consultancy, Mathew has served for eighteen years as an Associate Consultant with the Kenya School of Government, and currently holds active mandates as a World Bank Consultant and a National Consultant with UNDESA, alongside assignments completed for the African Development Bank.
